I have been using Hibernate for storing Java beans in database.

I just came across . I always heard about hibernate to connected to databases to store beans but never about MyBeans.org BeanFactory ? When I created a simple application to store beans in the database I found it much easier than Hibernate as BeanFactory package uses no XML configuration file; then why use hibernate ?

I did a lot of research to find the difference between the both but did not succeed. Could any one please explain me the difference and when to use what ?

Thanks in advance for taking time and reading my post.
