 Post subject: Many-to-Many: How to disable delete cascade?

Hi,

When I issue an em.delete() on an entity with Many-to-Many, Hibernate is issuing an extra delete on the relational table. It normally makes sense, but how can I turn it off? I want an exception to be throw in my face. :)

Is it possible?

I'm using JPA2 with Hibernate 3.6
