I want to implement a more efficient "existence" check for my domain objects, based on the primary key and using the query listed above. Can someone please suggest the best way to do that? I'm thinking I may need to use a native SQL api, but the question is: how to make it general enough, so that I can just pass in my domain object class and get back a boolean response.
Thanks very much for any suggestions!
