Hi all,

I have:

Code:

Parent Class
@OneToMany(mappedBy = "parent", fetch = FetchType.LAZY, cascade = CascadeType.ALL, orphanRemoval=true)
private List<Child> childs;

Code:

Child Class
@ManyToOne
private Parent parent;

When i do:

Code:

Parent p = new Parent();
p.setId(123123);
daoParent.remove(p);

i get the Exception?

Code:

Cannot delete or update a parent row: a foreign key constraint fails

Why it does not automatically remove the children?

Can you help me? Thanks!
