Hi Techies,

I am new to hibernate, trying to learn, It has been a good experience to learn it. I am struck at one problem. how can i catch an invalid ipaddress when connecting to database through hibernate. We use Configuration class to connect to database and set other properties. How we can catch the invalid database exceptions.
any help will be appreciable.
