 Post subject: Hibernate standalone rollback

Hello I noticed that in my sample standalone java application, the transaction automatically rolls back if a runtimeexception occurs. I am wondering to why do we need to explicitly call rollback then?

It's needed if you wants your code portable to contAiner transaction
