Hi again,

How do I switch the auto generated @EmbeddedId to @IdClass? I googled for more than 1 hour now. That seems like an awful lot of time for such a presumably trivial problem. Please tell me it is possible for it would mean hours! of saved work time for me. I don't want to rewrite hundreds of classes because of this.

Again the problem: I want composite id classes. But I want them annotated as @IdClass (not via @EmbeddedId)

Thanks

Great, another easy question and noone can be bothered to answer it ... Honestly, why is this so hard? Why aren't there 'Best Practises' for common problems?

So I take from this:
Everyone uses @EmbeddedId for composite IDs. And the @IdClass annotation is just, what? An obsolete relict from past releases?
