 Post subject: secondaryTable support for DB cascade delete

We have an Entity that has a secondary table. We have specified on cascade delete in the database. Currently when the entity is deleted in Hibernate we get
org.hibernate.StaleObjectStateException: Row was updated or deleted by another transaction

Is there any way to tell Hibernate that the secondary table will be cascade deleted so it will not try and delete it?
