Informix does not work in Version 3.3 (i.a. usage of Database syntax is with . instead of :)
There is a patch au the IIUG-Homepage, which sould help informix to run..

Is this patch for 3.3 included in the newest 3.6-version?

The missing included "ready to run Informix - support" is a real drawback in using Informix.
Sometime, I would prefer to user Postgres or Mysql.

It took me several days, to find out, that hibernate 3.3 does not support informix correct
I have not yet a hibernate running ready for Informix.
