Hi Friend,

we are using spring mvc with hibernate. there is a very simple question for hibernate, and it is very interesting:

in controller:

Code:

                 Customer cust  = CustomerDAO.loadCustomer(custId);

                 cust.setSalesRevenue(10000);

                 //we do not call any saveUpdate method

                 return ModelAndView("viewName");

Even we do not call save method, the new value 10000 is saved into DB, we cannot figure out why it happens. Can anyone give a hint?
