You do not need to know hibernate. You need to know your task and then select right framework for it. Get a task first.

There are huge number of such strange new users like you here on the forum. I wonder if some big corportation included spamming on hibernate forum in their tutorial package or requirements for the position.

Once again, Hibernate is not a magic wand. It just very specific object-relation mapping utility. It won't get you a job or a big salary.
