Reading Java Persistence with Hibernate I've read that CompositeUserType can be used in query. I created a test with a named query that use a DateRangeUserType and it run correctly. Now, creating a named query that accept that CompositeUserType as parameter throw an error at Hibernate startup.
The question is: can I use CompositeUserType(s) as query parameters?

[edited: remove code because it is too complex]
