I am using JBoss Seam 2.2.0.GA, JBoss AS 5.1.0.GA and Oracle 10g. My application seems to be running fine except that a couple of queries are crashing the whole application. I have pasted one such query below.
Code:
@PersistenceContext
EntityManager em;
...
em.createQuery("FROM ExperimentalFactor ef").getResultList();
The JBoss seems to quietly shutdown when I make the getResultList() call with absolutely no stack trace. The last message I get in the logs is the hibernate query.
Code:
2010-09-23 03:01:48,611 INFO [STDOUT] Hibernate:
select
experiment0_.EXPERIMENTAL_FACTOR_ID as EXPERIME9_1_,
experiment0_.id as id1_,
experiment0_.id as id21_0_,
experiment0_.CREATED_BY as CREATED2_21_0_,
experiment0_.CREATED_DATE as CREATED3_21_0_,
experiment0_.DELETE_RECORD as DELETE4_21_0_,
experiment0_.DESCRIPTION as DESCRIPT5_21_0_,
experiment0_.EXPERIMENTAL_FACTOR_ID as EXPERIME9_21_0_,
experiment0_.FACTOR_VALUE as FACTOR6_21_0_,
experiment0_.MODIFIED_BY as MODIFIED7_21_0_,
experiment0_.MODIFIED_DATE as MODIFIED8_21_0_
from
EXPERIMENT_FCTR_PERM_VAL experiment0_
where
experiment0_.EXPERIMENTAL_FACTOR_ID=?
Did anyone else ever encounter such an issue? What could potentially be going wrong?
