 Post subject: query is being generated but stays null

i have a manyToOne relationship, when i query the many side i can see that the SQL is being generated correctly but the data is not fully inserted into my collection, the data inside the tree is stays null.
will be glade for answers.
i use hibernate as my JPA implementation.

You need to flush after you your insert if you don't use some transactions
