part of hibernate maping object TestObj is

Code:
   <property name="myNumber" type="java.lang.Integer">
           <column name="iMyNumber" not-null="false" default="null" />
        </property>

I want to save null value in property myNumber. When I revoke function session.saveOrUpdate(testObj) value of myNumber is null, but after transaction is commited hibernate sets deafult value -1 to it. Why is it happening?
