Hi,

Collection fields in my entities use the java.util.Collection interface. At runtime collection references are of type java.util.HashSets like so

Code:

class A {
  
 @OneToMany   // rest ommitted...
  private Collection<B> bs = new HashSet<B>();

}

Everything works fine until I annotate a method with @PreUpdate when I get a

Code:

java.lang.ClassCastException: java.util.HashSet cannot be cast to org.hibernate.collection.PersistentCollection

What am I doing wrong?
