 Post subject: Releasing connection to the pool

Using hibernate 3.5.1-final and c3p0 for connection pooling.

I had thought that closing an entity manager is implying that we want to release resources. It seems though only transaction.commit() would guarantee that a connection is released back to the pool.

Is this correct?
