 Post subject: sharing second level caches

hey all.. i have a shared database that currently uses hibernate in java with a memcache provider for the second level cache.. we also have a .net application that would like to use this database and I want to use nHibernate for the ORM. is it possible to share the second level cache so that writes in one environment aren't missed in another?
