 Post subject: HSQLDB shutdown=true automatically on exception?

I need to set shutdown=true to get my changes persisted to the database.

But I still want them to be persisted (everything that is committed) when an exception occurs, and that doesn't happen. I.e., when an exception is thrown, the shutdown command is not issued.

Is there anything that can be done about it?
