 Post subject: minimum jars needed for validator?

Google is not giving me an answer and full hibernate plugin is too large for my wbapp so what is the minimum libs I need to use validator and entitymanager? Also can someone share what I can expect in terms of a file cap size from a we hosting provider so I know roughly size I should try keep war at?
