Any help is appreciated. Say I created a User object which has Id(PK) property and a unique 'username' property.

User user = new User();
user.setUserName("Bob");
session.save(user);//not committed yet

Now if I execute a HQL query

from User where username='Bob', //there is no such row in db yet..but we have an in-memory representation as above.

will I get a copy of the reference to the user object above?

session.commit();
