What is the difference between JPA and Hibernate?
What exactly is the JPA HIbernate implementation?

I searched for the answer on this question but the replies were contrasting

Can forum members throw some light on this.?

JPA is the part of EJB 3 that handles persistence, but it can work as standalone application (without app server).
JPA standardizes ORM frameworks for the Java platform. You can use some of the implementation such as JBoss Hibernate, Oracle Toplink, OpenJPA, Bea Kod, EclipseLink, etc.

Sorry for my bad english
