 Post subject: Return HashMap intead of list????

Is it possible to get a hibernate query to return the results as an indexed HashMap rather than a List. This would make it easy to test if objects are contained in the results using the id.

Well I think I will just have a method to convert the ArrayList into a Hashmap after the List is retrieved from the DB.
