Hi All,

I want to add the correct libs to my glassfish domain as the 3 apps we have there all use it and it would be nice not to have to have these in the war's.

Is there a problem doing this?

I have been through the process of downloading the libraries from the site and can deduce I need these libs:

antlr-2.7.6.jar
commons-collections-3.1.jar
dom4j-1.6.1.jar
javassist-3.9.0.GA.jar
jta-1.1.jar
slf4j-api-1.5.8.jar
cglib-2.2.jar
hibernate3.jar
hibernate-annotations.jar
hibernate-commons-annotations.jar
hibernate-core.jar
slf4j-api.jar
dom4j.jar
ejb3-persistence.jar
hibernate-entitymanager.jar
javassist.jar
jta.jar

I took the libs from these downloads:

hibernate-annotations-3.4.0.GA
hibernate-distribution-3.3.2.GA
hibernate-entitymanager-3.4.0.GA

Are there any libs here I don't actually require?

I also discovered I needed this lib directly from the SLF4j site:
slf4j-jdk14-1.5.10.jar

Is there a reason why I needed this and it wasn't in the downloads from Hibernate?

Well after searching I found the update centre for Glassfish in Netbeans. It has Hibernate JPA as an option, here are the Jars it wanted to copy.

When you install this module, following jars will be copied to your <GlassFish_Root>/lib directory. These jars correspond to hibernate-entitymanager-3.4.0.GA and hibernate-distribution-3.3.1.GA
