Hi,

I am working to an application which was developed based on the hibernate core 3.3.0.
Right now, I want to use Hibernate Validator 4.0.2 which is implemented based on JSR 303. But I cannot make the both frameworks to work together (I mean hibernate core 3.3.0 and hibernate validator 4.0.2).

In the same time I try to upgrade the hibernate core but other errors are thrown:

Is there any tips or a tutorial which shows how to make this upgrade?

If you work with hibernate 3.5.0 CR2
then you must replace in your classpath

ejb3-persistence.jar

with

http://repository.jboss.org/maven2/org/hibernate/java-persistence/jpa-api/2.0-cr-1/jpa-api-2.0-cr-1.jar
