Hi,

I am using Hibernate in a Java Swing application. I have found that when I update the database data directly (w/o changes from the Swing application), the Swing application does NOT reflect these changes till re-started.

Is this something to do with Hibernate caching? Do I need to set some hibernate parameter so that data manipulated outside of the application is also reflected automatically?

Please help.
