Hi,

does hibernate support lower cases for boolean mappings @Type(name="yes_no")?

example:

@Column(name="CALCULATE_FEE", columnDefinition="CHAR(1)")
@Type(name="yes_no")
private boolean calculateFee;

Hibernate try to insert always upper case 'Y'/'N' chars. Unfortunately , we have an legacy oracle-system with a database constrain at this column - watching for lower case y/n.
