I need to randomly select some entities. Based on an information from archived emails, it could be achieved by the following query:

Code:

"from MyEntity ... order by rand()" and set the max returned result

I get an error message says the rand() is not defined when I run the above query. Is the rand() function gone? Any other way to get randomly selected items?
