Hy all,

I searched through the forum but was not able to find something about this, so i decided to ask.

In my project i have the, in my oppinion, very common demand that the id in the order table starts at 10000 instead of 1.

but with hibernate i cannot find how to define the seed to 10000. i dont really want to use a TableGenerator just for this purpose, i mean the database supports the functionality.

im using hibernate 3

any help is appreaciated
