Reading this post http://scottrbailey.wordpress.com/2009/ ... span_sets/ I would suppose postgresql supports extending the base type system. I wonder, does hibernate need extensions to the postgresql dialect, or do we need to wrap these types using other stuff, like usertypes?
What would be the best way to map the Joda time types on top of this postgresql extension (and it would seem it's a port of a similar oracle extension as well)?
Thanks
