 Post subject: Creation date mapping

In all my tables, I have a column CREATION_DATE which has to be set with the sysdate when a new record is inserted.
How do I defined it in the xml mapping, also I dont want it to be updated anymore when I update it.

http://www.hibernate.org/48.html for an example of an interceptor similar to what you're describing.
