We're in the early stages of design where we plan to deploy a SmartClient application. The application will use SQL Compact for local cache and to store "rules" that will drive workflow and requirement fields. Although we use CodeSmith one of the developers suggested NHibernate for this project. I've search for ORM tools that support SQL Compact 3.5 but haven't found any that clearly state it. So the question to the community is - Does NHibernate support Microsoft SQL Compact 3.5? If so, is it "out-of-the-box" or did some tweaking occur (what were those)?

Thanks
Jeff

I've been using NH + SQL Compact 3.5 on a project for the past year and can tell you it works just fine. All it takes to get started is configuring the correct driver and connection string.

BTW, if you're going to use NH you should keep these two links in your bookmarks collection:
