Hi

I'm using EntityMode.DOM4J to map XML documents directly to the database. This works fine, but I would like to specify a namespace to be used by Hibernate when creating a document retrieved from the database.

I use code like the following snippet, where both entityName and id are Strings.

Code:
Session dom4jSession = session.getSession(EntityMode.DOM4J);
Element doc = (Element) dom4jSession.get( entityName, Long.valueOf( id ) );

I have searched forums and documentation, but can't find an answer to my problem. Does anyone have a receipt for getting Hibernate to use XML namespace(s)? Or can you recommend a workaround?

Thanks!

Hibernate version: 3.2.6ga
