I'm using a third party library that contains a Class A with a Collection of Class B. Neither Class A nor Class B have identifier properties and there are multiple "types" of Class B. One type of Class B has a Collection as well.

I'm mapping Class A as a Hibernate Component and think that I need to map Class B as a CompositeUserType since Hibernate doesn't support inheritance with components (trying to follow http://blog.xebia.com/2007/09/25/hibernate-component-value-object-inheritance-mapping/). I'm not sure how to handle the one type of Class B with a Collection though. Is it possible to populate the a Collection on an instance created within a CompositeUserType?
